We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vertical Form Seal Operator to join our production team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate and oversee the vertical form seal machines, ensuring they function efficiently to meet production targets. This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to undergo training to master machine operations and optimize production output.
Calibrate the vertical form seal machine before each production run.
Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of the machines to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to maintain quality and maximize efficiency.
Perform tests to assess machine functionality and output quality.
Load raw materials into the machines and assist with assembly line processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions that arise during production.
Inspect finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of machine operations, including production data, defective units, and final product counts.
Keep detailed logs of daily activities and performance metrics.
Prepare and submit regular reports on machine performance and production metrics.
Supervise and support a small team of production line employees to ensure production goals are met efficiently.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality control procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
